Every parent dreams of a drama-free morning, whether their kids are a few days old or about to move out. We get it! Chaos is a normal part of life with children, but we ran across one lucky mom who gets a few seconds of peace, love, and bliss every single morning without fail. It sounds too good to be true, right?
Well, it's not! This fortunate momma gets to witness the sweetest interaction between two of her babies--her toddler and her dog-- every single morning. It's a simple gesture that takes only seconds out of their day, but it's a joyful and adorable daily routine that puts a smile on everyone's face. Let's just say--jealous is an understatement!
When she shared a video of her little boy, Noah, greeting the family's Great Dane on the morning of November 27, the family's TikTok followers responded just as positively as one would guess. Daphne the Dane is definitely feeling the love from her brother--and so is everyone else. Take a look!
Aww! It's so magical to witness the pure love between a little boy and his dog, especially when they're both such gentle souls. It's easy to see why their mom wanted to share this priceless interaction! Not every toddler would be so gentle and loving with a sleeping dog, but Noah knows exactly what to do when he sees Daphne. And his sister, of course, is living up to the Great Dane's gentle giant demeanor.

Something tells me that these two are even closer than we realize. Noah gives the family dog not one, but two hugs, before she returns the favor with a kiss. Great Danes Truly Are Gentle Giants
Great Dane owners who saw @the_oakie_dokie's priceless video weren't surprised at all by Daphne's heartwarming response to her brother's hugs. Several commenters also shared stories of their own special Danes, but even canine experts agree that these massive dogs have even more massive hearts.
The American Kennel Club describes the Great Dane breed as "people pleasers who make friends easily." They're also "patient with kids," "easygoing," and "a joy to live with." We think Noah and his mom would agree! Daphne is as sweet as can be with her toddler buddy, and she's always helping Mom make adorable TikTok videos. Long story short--Great Danes are great with kids, just like Daphne is with Noah.
With their impressive size, watchful nature, and impressive bark, Great Danes also make great watchdogs for homes, families, or individuals. You can't get much more loyal than a Dane--and we think Daphne is the perfect example. She may not be an official family guard dog, but she's always there for Noah and the family. She's the definition of a good girl. No wonder she gets such loving hugs every morning!
