'Today' Star Justin Sylvester Posted a Cryptic IG Following 'Daily Pop' Cancellation News
Justin Sylvester is keeping his head high.
On August 26, Deadline reported that NBCUniversal canceled the E! daytime talk show Daily Pop featuring Justin and former The Real co-host Loni Love. According to the outlet, the decision to drop Daily Pop and its evening counterpart, Nightly Pop, from the lineup was due to the company restructuring. In its place, a new unnamed show will begin airing nightly in late October after Daily Pop ends in mid-September. Nightly Pop will wrap up in early October.
Since launching in spring 2017, Justin has been the only co-host to stay on Daily Pop following multiple departures. Though he hasn’t directly addressed the cancellation news, the Today show contributor seemingly shared his thoughts via an Instagram video.
“From the top of the morning , I shiiiiiine 💡,” he captioned an Instagram clip of himself on a rooftop.
Reacting to the news, Daily Pop fans immediately headed over to Justin’s Instagram comments section to show their support. “I can’t imagine not seeing you on my tv every day!!! I can’t wait to see where you shine next 💜,” one person wrote. “Can’t wait to see who is going to be lucky enough to pick you up! You’re the reason I watch E!” another added. “Let’s us know where to find you in [September] ❤️❤️❤️,” a different fan said.
What’s more, a few days later, Justin revealed that he went on a trip to Como, Italy. In an Instagram snippet, he relaxed on a boat while drinking a glass of wine. “I laughed. I cried. I Como’d,” he captioned it.
Similarly, fans also took this as an opportunity to share heartwarming messages with him. “Your future is bright Justin, I know this was just the beginning,” a follower commented.
