'Today' Star Hoda Kotb Confessed On TikTok To Drunk Dialing Thomas Rhett And It’s Wild

Hoda Kotb loves country music singer Thomas Rhett, and she’s not afraid to tell him so after a few drinks.
In a recent TikTok, which was also posted to the Today with Hoda and Jenna Instagram page, the Today show coanchor was joined by fellow cohost Jenna Bush Hager to share a fun confession. Jenna hilariously spilled that despite celebrating her children’s back-to-back birthdays, she “never [wants] to see a bouncy house ever again.” As for Hoda, she poked fun at herself for reaching out to Thomas after imbibing a bit.
“I love getting a new song from Thomas Rhett until I start singing it and drunk dial him,” Hoda said in the TikTok. The “Die A Happy Man” vocalist was then tagged in the clip’s caption, which reads, “It’s the facial expressions for us. @thomasrhett, wya? 😆.”
In a happy surprise, Thomas responded to the TikTok. “Hahah!! Call us anytime!” he said.
Hoda’s fans couldn’t get enough of her honesty and showered her with laughing-face emojis on social media. “Love the faces 😂💕,” one person wrote. “I want to be Hoda when I grow up,” another added. “This made me laugh so much! 😂,” a different fan said on Instagram. “Hoda want to explain lol? Love you guys 😁,” a follower commented.
In case you didn't know, Hoda had previously shared with People that she's phoned Thomas several times before. According to the Today show star, her drunk-dialing rolodex also includes another country music superstar and a Voice coach.
“These are my go-to drunk dials: Zac Brown, Kelly Clarkson … and the last one, and he doesn’t even pick up anymore, Thomas Rhett,” she told the magazine.
Luckily this time, Thomas did respond to Hoda ... and something tells us his message totally made her day.
