Hoda Kotb is celebrating Mother’s Day in the best way thanks to her two bundles of joy!

On Wednesday, May 4, the Today with Hoda and Jenna cohost took to Instagram to share the sweetest surprise from her two little girls.

“Mother's day came early. Lucky me ❤️❤️#melting,” Hoda captioned the video of herself being led down the stairs by her two daughters, Haley Joy, 5, and Hope Catherine, 3.

Halfway down, her daughters stopped to show her a note on the steps that read “Happy Mother’s Day.” As they continued down the stairs, Hoda was greeted in her dining room by a display set out by her daughters, including what looks to be coffee, water and another note. Upon arriving, Haley and Hope broke into song, singing Happy Mother’s Day to the tune of the birthday song. Needless to say, Hoda can be heard sniffling in the background the whole time, overwhelmed by the kindness of her daughters’ hearts.

After watching the touching moment unfold, fans couldn’t help but share in Hoda’s joy. “Omg. I’m not crying…. Is anyone crying? So precious. You deserve this,” one fan commented on Hoda’s post. “Absolutely adorable! You are truly blessed Hoda,” another fan exclaimed. “They planned all by themselves??? The sweetest. ❤️,” someone else chimed in. “Stop,” Today coanchor Al Roker wrote in the comments section, equally overwhelmed.

As a refresher, Hoda adopted Haley in 2017 and Hope in 2019, both with her then-fiancé, Joel Schiffman. Although the couple had been together for eight years, with plans of getting married and expanding their family, they called it quits in January of this year. Hoda, being the ever-graceful woman she is, expressed no ill-will about Joel.

On the Today show, Hoda shared: "We decided that we are going to start this new year and begin it kind of on our new path as loving parents to our adorable, delightful children, and as friends. It's not like something happened. They say sometimes relationships are meant to be there for a reason or a season or for a lifetime. And I feel like ours was meant to be there for a season.”
