At a recent red carpet event, Deborah Roberts was the essence of pretty in pink.

The broadcast journalist turned heads while attending the New York Ballet 2022 Fall Fashion Gala in late September. The 62-year-old TV personality wore a bright pink dress, with a deep plunging neckline and long cape sleeves. Her hair was pulled back in a sleek low bun and she donned rosy cheeks. Deborah finished off the look with gold chandelier earrings and a reflective metallic clutch for her accessorizes.

When the ABC News star posted her daring outfit on Twitter, Today fans didn't hold back their opinions.

"That dress is 🔥!" one person wrote. "That color is certainly exquisite and the dress is a perfect one," another added. "Deb, you look beautiful and regal," a different fan said.

Although folks couldn't get as great of a look on Instagram, many still showed up in the comment section to send the fire and heart-eyes emojis her way.

The event, which Deborah actually helped co-chair last year, was one of the first events the reporter and her Today show husband Al Roker, 68, attended together since officially becoming empty nesters. The couple sent their youngest son, Nick, 20, off to college back in August and have been slowly adjusting to a quieter home life now that it's just the two of them.

Off the red carpet, Deborah shared some major career news in early October. It was announced she would be becoming a contributing anchor for 20/20 in addition to her current job as a national affairs correspondent for Nightline, Good Morning America and World News Tonight with David Muir.

According to Deadline, although Deborah has reported for the largely true-crime-focused news show since 1995, this is the first time she will be credited as an anchor. It's an amazing opportunity for both her and us since it means even more opportunities to share great outfits with us.
