Hoda Kotb is celebrating warmer days ahead.

On April 24, the Today show cohost shared that she was enjoying her time off outdoors with her family. The 56-year-old NBC coanchor posted a heartfelt photo on Instagram of her fiancé, Joel Schiffman, and their two daughters, Haley Joy and Hope Catherine. Hoda’s family of four also hung out with other adults, who appear to be the couple’s friends.

The group posed for the pic against a beach-y backdrop with water and a boardwalk nearby. According to Hoda’s caption, she’s already counting down the days until there's only sunny weather. “Summer is coming! Xoxox,” she wrote.

Hoda’s fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet family photo. Hundreds of the Today star’s Instagram followers flooded the comments section with an outpour of love and support.

“Fun in the sun with family. Nothing beats it,” one person wrote. “Lots of happiness in this pic!” another added. “This warms my heart!!” a different fan said. “Love the family photo ❤️,” a follower commented.

In mid March, Hoda opened up to her fellow Today fourth-hour cohost Jenna Bush Hager about why she and Joel decided to get married after dating for a handful of years. Since getting engaged in November 2019, Hoda and Joel have looked forward to walking down the aisle. For her, it’s “the one last thing" she would like to do to make her family feel whole. (Watch Hoda in the clip below at the 3:10 mark.)

"With our family, there are a lot of things that are unusual about our grouping, and I think that's it's good to have all those things in order," Hoda said on the morning show's fourth hour.

She continued: "I think everyone makes their own choice, but you have so many things to explain, like, 'That's my mom and dad. They're not married. We're adopted. They're old.' There's a lot to talk about … I just think to make it one less thing.”

Even though their wedding has been postponed twice due to the coronavirus pandemic, the bride-to-be is still hopeful their special day will come soon. Of course, we also can’t wait!
