'Today' Fans Are Asking Hoda Kotb TONS Of Questions After This Instagram Post

• Today show star Hoda Kotb recently posted a photo from Jenna Bush Hager's baby shower on Instagram.

• On the post, many fans asked when Hoda would be coming back to Today.

• Hoda has been on maternity leave since April after adopting her second child, Hope Catherine, with her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman.

If the comments section on Hoda Kotb's Instagram from Tuesday proves anything, it's that Today show fans severely miss the co-host and want her back on the air with Jenna Bush Hager, ASAP.

The Instagram in question is the one below, which was taken at Jenna's baby shower earlier this week. As the former First Daughter announced on Today back in April, she is expecting her third child (a boy!) later this summer.

"Celebrating our jenna today ❤️👶🏼!" Hoda wrote alongside the photo, which features fellow Today star Savannah Guthrie. In response, Jenna commented back, "I love you for coming. (Well, I love you anyway) ❤️❤️."

While plenty of fans commented that they were super excited for Jenna, many took the opportunity to inquire about Hoda's absence on the show. Several asked, "When are you coming back?!" and "where are you?," while others begged her to return soon.

Lucky for them, Hoda's expected to come back to Today any day now. Just like she did when she adopted her first daughter Haley Joy back in 2017, Hoda is currently taking two months off to be with her new bundle of joy, Hope Catherine. Hoda and her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman, adopted Hope in mid-April.

Of course, once Jenna has her baby boy though, she'll be on maternity leave for about three months (the same amount of time Dylan Dreyer took when she gave birth to her son, Calvin, in December). That means Today will likely tap Meredith Vieira, Willie Geist, and more co-hosts to fill in for Jenna for the rest of the summer.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. For now, we're just super excited that Hoda is coming back to co-host the third hour really soon.
