In a new video shared to the official Today Instagram account on Friday, April 28, Melvin showed off his sillier side as he playfully waved to the crowd outside the New York City studio.

The 43-year-old TV personality put on an animated display in the wholesome clip, as he was seen literally jumping for joy while giving enthusiastic waves to the fans outside the window.

To make the video even more entertaining, the clip was set to the tune of House of Pain's "Jump Around," which perfectly matched Melvin's energy.

"Craig waving at the crowd during a commercial break 🥲" the Today Instagram page captioned the clip, which also featured a reaction comment from a fan in the corner of the post, reading, "This man is a national treasure. Protect him."

Other fans took to the comments under the post to express their feelings about the joyful video, including one user who wrote, "He makes the show so much fun!!"

"Bless his heart he's so goofy but in a good way," another comment read.
