Tiny Puppy Surrendered to Humane Society Due to Leg Deformity Has People in Love

A tiny puppy named Ophelia was bred to be sold and due to a deformity in her back legs she was of no use to the people who bred her. Some ethical breeders may surrender dogs with leg deformities if the condition poses significant health risks or compromises the dog's quality of life, but more often that not, if a puppy can't make a breeder any cold hard cash they are no longer of use to them.

The TikTok account for the Michigan Animal Rescue League @Mi_animalrescueleague posted the following video of adorable Ophelia and get ready to fall in love!

She is just so precious! TikTok users are loving this little girl and @Sarah comments, "She is perfect." @Jinxy replies, "Pibbles are just the sweetest lil babies!! I wish I could save them all!" @Kathleen adds, "I love that you scratched her itch for her because she couldn’t! What a sweetheart." @Caren says, "She is so precious! Thank you for saving her." @Ab adds, "The heart on this video going from red to white and back again was me wishing I could heart this video a 100x. The very best days are ahead, Ophelia!" @Rinata responds with, "She can walk fine. She may need some special shoes at some point to protect her stumps, but that’s not a big deal. So cute!"

We are so happy that this adorable little girl is in her foster-to-adopt forever home, but if you are looking to give a home to a special needs pet you can contact your local humane society or animal shelter. Every dog deserves love, even those that are less-than-breeding standard.
