Tiny Pup Hitches a Ride From a Rooster in Adorable Video
Sometimes the most unlikely animals become friends, and that's certainly the case in this video that @Sweet Pet Oasis shared in mid-December 2023. The video isn't very long - it's only about 14 seconds - but it's total cuteness overload!
The video starts with a rooster walking with a tiny white puppy hitching a ride on its back. The puppy seems to be very comfy up there, and it seems this probably isn't the first time that the puppy has been there. The rooster is walking around totally normal, like he doesn't mind the hitchhiker on his back at all. That is one patient rooster!
It's always fun to see unlikely friendships between animals, like the two in @Sweet Pet Oasis' video. Who would've ever thought that a rooster would let any animal on its back, let alone a tiny puppy! Commenters also got a kick out of the short video. There were a lot of people who left one-word comments about how cute the pair is, while others tagged friends to share a little bit of adorableness. @TORIA made a good point when she said, "If only humans could love each other this way, regardless of race."

Cute Animal Friendships
Just like people, most animals enjoy the company of other animals. Many pet owners get a pet and then decide that their pet needs a friend...which may explain why so many people have more than one pet! I know that was true for my family and almost everybody else that I know. We got a West Highland Terrier when she was a puppy, and less than a year later ended up with another Westie!
But not all animal friendships are two dogs or two cats. Like in this video, sometimes it's an unlikely pair who find each other. Take for instance this cat and parrot who are BFFs...talk about a pair you wouldn't ever think to put together! Here's another friendship that you don't see every day...a giraffe making friends with a baby deer. I bet both of them were just trying to figure out what the other was! I'm sure a giraffe running into a deer doesn't happen very often.
This video of a Great Dane making friends with a frog was surprising, as the dog was so curious and gentle with the frog. And this friendship between a goat and a turkey is sure to warm your heart.
Videos that show off one-of-a-kind friendships are my favorite kind of animal videos, and I love to find and share them. They always brighten my day a bring a smile to my face!
