Timothée Chalamet Debuted a Brand-New Mustache at the National Board of Review Gala
It seems like only yesterday that we had crowned Timothée Chalamet as the King of rocking key chains on the red carpet, but now he's moved on to something new. During his most recent public appearance, the Little Women star shocked us again when he revealed his newly groomed facial hair.
As pointed out by Just Jared, on Wednesday, January 8, the actor attended this year's National Board of Review Gala and, in addition to an all-white outfit, he also rocked a new, small mustache. Photos from the event captured Tim's new goatee in full action, which quickly reached social media.
Naturally, there are plenty of meme-related reactions, including a perfect tweet that reads, "Timothée can have a little mustache as a treat." Another follower also shared a past selfie of the star that also featured the 'stache, writing, "The stache power is strong."
Along with the new facial hair, the actor wore a monochromatic outfit. He paired a white graphic tee with a cream-colored suit jacket and matching pants. The only splash of color came from a touch of black on his jacket.
There's no word as to what might have inspired the change in facial hair, but it could be tied to one of the star's reported new roles. Just this week, it was announced that the actor was in final talks to portray Bob Dylan in an upcoming film based on the singer. A release date has not been confirmed and Timothée is allegedly still in negotiations for the role, though he has reportedly already started learning guitar for the film.
The new 'stache isn't the only time Timothée has caused a stir with his hair styling choices as of late. Back in July, the internet came together to create memes inspired by his bowl cut from The King — and who knows what he might surprise us with next!
