Oh Hi, Tom Brady and Irina Shayk Just "Holed Up" in Fancy London Hotel for 48 Hours

Tom Brady and Irina Shayk appear to be dating—or at least that's the vibe we're getting from photos of their car PDA—and the time has come to lay this whole situation out. Mostly because Irina was rumored to be flirting with Tom at a billionaire's wedding back in May, which her rep denied. Oh, and because their exes Bradley Cooper and Gisele Bündchen have some thoughts.
Let's take things back to September 2022 for a sec, a simpler time when there were reports that Irina and Bradley were jumping back into the sha-ha, sha-ha-llow together.
September 2022
So after Bradley and Irina go on THIS vacation together (please swipe past the huge pig)...
...a source tells Page Six the former couple is thinking about getting together again and might grow their family.
"They both [Bradley and Irina] haven’t gotten serious with anyone else and they are both into the idea of having a kid," the source says. "It’s not Bennifer 2.0 where the other person is always in the back of their head, it’s more like, ‘why not?’ They have to deal with each other anyway since they are parents together. They are both thinking, maybe it’s time to finally really settle in."
October 2022
Over in Tom and Gisele's world, multiple outlets report the couple has hired divorce lawyers—and a source tells Entertainment Tonight that "Tom isn't taking things well. He wants to reconcile and was still holding out hope that they could work things out. He is extremely hurt and misses Gisele being by his side. He feels abandoned in a way. He loves his family, but also wants to continue his career. He feels like he is in a tough spot."

November 2022
A month after news of her and Tom's divorce breaks, Gisele and her jiu-jitsu instructor spark dating rumors. Why? Basically because they went out to dinner together, which means...nothing. Anyway, a source shuts down said rumors to the Daily Mail, saying, "He's been her kids jiu-jitsu teacher for years. There's no truth to the rumors that they're dating."
March 2023
Gisele chats about her and Tom's breakup with Vanity Fair. Ahem:
"When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make. That doesn't mean you don't love the person. Tom and Irina both attend the wedding of "billionaire art heir" Joe Nahmad and Madison Headrick in Italy. Per TMZ, "A number of models were hitting on Tom, and Irina was one of them." (Something her rep denies, notably.)
Entertainment Tonight later reports they “spent time together” and “hit it off” at the wedding and “have been talking for about a month.”

Page Six says "spies" (quick break to 😂) told them Irina made a "beeline" for Tom at the wedding, and “she followed him around all weekend. She was throwing herself at him.” Meanwhile, her manager hits back with, “This story is completely false. It is a totally malicious and fictional account of the evening.”
July 3, 2023
Tom is spotted at Michael Rubin's Hamptons White Party, an event I worry we'll never stop talking about, flirting up a storm with Kim Kardashian.
The Weekend of July 22
TMZ reports Tom and Irina were spotted "cozying up in L.A. over the course of two days" and she spent the night at his place. Oh, and Tom was "seen stroking Irina's cheek—very tenderly." The outlet updates their article on July 24 with confirmation that Tom and Irina "are indeed dating."

We get our first intel on how Gisele feels about Tom dating Irina, with a source telling TMZ she's “not happy.” That said, another insider notes, “Why wouldn’t she be happy for Tom? She divorced him. It is helpful to her freedom that he moved on.”
TMZ also says Irina and Gisele are “not friends, but they have known each other professionally for years and have always been cordial when they cross paths.”
July 25, 2023
As for how Bradley is doing with Irina and Tom's whole thing, a source tells the Daily Mail, "To say he is not bothered by this would be a lie. He has been on and off and on with Irina, and he has so much love for her. She is the mother to his girl and they are his two favorite women in the world. He feels that, for the first time, she met someone in Tom that would take her heart away from him forever."
Apparently, Bradley is "conflicted" since he's also "dated other women" but is concerned since he knows "Tom is very capable of being a devoted husband and parent and husband."
Meanwhile another source tells Page Six Bradley isn't upset about the situation, saying, “Right now, he is taking a wait-and-see attitude. [Tom and Irina] didn’t declare their love. This could be over in two, three weeks. He isn’t freaked out. He knew she was going to meet someone."

A source tells Us Weekly that Tom doesn't plan to spend his birthday with Irina, saying “He’ll be spending his birthday with the loves of his life his children." Turns out Tom recently “traveled to Africa and will be celebrating there with them.”
Meanwhile, he's “still seeing Irina," and while the romance is “very new," they’re "enjoying spending time with each other."

Page Six reports that Irina is taking steps to protect the relationship with Tom and cutting ties with "loose lipped" friends to "prevent leaks." As a source puts it, “she’s afraid any weird rumors might scare him off," “really wants this to work,” and “Brady is her white whale. He’s an all-American nice guy.”
August 15, 2023
Looks like Tom and Irina have officially found time to reconnect! The Daily Mail reports that the couple "enjoyed a romantic 48 hour rendezvous in London over the weekend" and were "holed up" at a hotel (which they left separately). Love that for them.
