Time for a Deep Dive Into Bella Hadid's Complete Dating Timeline—Including Her New Boyfriend Adan Banuelos

Bella Hadid has a new boyfriend who is literally a professional cowboy (no choice but to stan), so now's as good a time as any to brush up on her relationship history and dating rumors. And lemme just say: The Weeknd Years were a *lot* of drama, so buckle up.

Adan Banuelos: 2023 to RTFN!

Bella is currently linked to Texas cowboy and National Cutting Horse Association Riders Hall of Famer Adan Banuelos, and they've been spending a ton of time together. These two were spotted kissing in October 2023, and they went public on Bella's Instagram in February 2024 (with pics from her October birthday party):

A source tells Entertainment Tonight that "Bella and Adan are in love and her family and friends have never seen her this happy," adding that Adan is "a hard-working real cowboy, and a champion cutter."

Sounds like a Hallmark movie and I'm HERE FOR IT.

Marc Kalman: 2020 to 2023

Bella and Marc got together in 2020 and hid their relationship for a whole year before going public on her Instagram (since deleted, sorry) in 2021. They stayed pretty low-key, but Marc did show up on Bella's IG Stories a few times:

By 2022, there were reports that Marc (full deep dive on him over here, by the way) might be proposing—and a source even told Entertainment Tonight that “Marc is planning to propose to Bella in the fall. They have spoken about getting engaged and having their wedding in California.”

I mean, when fall rolled around there was no denying the vibes were right!

Buuuuuut by summer of the following year, Entertainment Tonigtht spoke to another source who said “They were very in love, but the relationship ultimately ran its course and they decided to end things. Bella is a very nice person but struggles with the pressures of fame. Bella is taking some much deserved time off to treat her Lyme disease. She is not in rehab and has never had an alcohol or drug problem. Her split from Marc was amicable and she is always someone who takes care of herself and has been very open about it."

Duke Nicholson: October 2020 (Rumored but False)

Page Six claimed that Bella and Jack Nicholson's grandson Duke were secretly dating after meeting in NYC and described their relationship as “a hookup of old and new Hollywood dynasties." But Bella's rep denied the claims to E! News, soooo moving on.

The Weeknd Again: 2017 to 2019

Abel was photographed leaving Bella’s NYC apartment in November 2017 just a few weeks after he and Selena Gomez split. Then in April 2018, Us Weekly reported he and Bella “were completely all over each other” at Coachella, which she denied:

Even so, these two were spotted multiple times over the next several months. Which brings us to their iconic Halloween costume in October that year:

ALAS, the former couple broke up again in August 2019, and a source told E! News, “They are in different places right now, physically and mentally. Bella is prepping for her fashion week commitments and Abel is working on his music and his upcoming acting debut. They have been arguing a lot recently....[They] haven’t spent quality time together in months.”

Drake: October 2017 (Rumored but False)

Drake and Bella were briefly linked after he organized her birthday party, with a source telling Us Weekly, “[Drake] planned it and paid for everything." But by November, the outlet reported Drake and Bella were “no longer talking” and "things ended over text when he basically ghosted her."

Bella denied the dating rumors, writing in a since-deleted response to a fan who suggested they hooked up, “Not me!!! That’s disrespectful. WHY CANT PPL BE FRIENDS W/o all the insinuation.”

The Weeknd: 2015 to 2016

Bella and Abel first connected in April in the hallowed fields of Coachella. A source told E! News at the time that they were “flirting lots,” while Us Weekly mentioned something about going on double dates with Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson (for that whole journey, head here.)

By October, Bella and Abel were still double dating with Gigi, only this time Joe Jonas joined the mix and paparazzi were around to chronicle it all:

Bella told Glamour, “It was a big night for him. He has worked so hard, and he did so well that night. As a girlfriend, I wanted to be there to support him. Seeing him so happy when he won a Grammy made me so happy."

By November 2016, things had ended between these two, and a source told People that Abel was “focusing on finishing and promoting his album…They still have a great deal of love for one another and will remain friends.”

A mere two weeks later? We got this moment at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (but FWIW, Bella told E! News ahead of the show, “There is no awkwardness. He is my best friend, and I am excited because I am walking during his performance”).
