Time for Allllll the Spoilers About ‘Bachelor’ Contestant Greer Blitzer

Against all odds, The Bachelor is once again rising from the ashes like a beautiful phoenix that’s super into polyamory. In other words, Zach Shallcross is about to embark on his love journey, an adventure that will presumably be just as harrowing as it is romantic. Of course, anyone who has watched even a handful of Bachelor seasons knows how this story goes: Zach will meet several dozen women at a weirdly damp mansion, date them all, give out his first impression rose and then do some light traveling soundtracked by women weeping as he breaks up with them one at a time.

But one contestant who seems poised to make it to the finish line? Twenty-four-year-old medical sales representative (classic!) Greer Blitzer. Here’s everything we know about Greer from The Bachelor—and in case it wasn’t already obvious, this article is full of spoilers. But we’ll save them for after our fave trusty GIF of Peter Weber’s mom Barb, in case you’d prefer to avoid ’em.

Greer Is From the Lone Star State

By which I mean Texas. Specifically Houston. Which is good news, because apparently Zach splits his time between Texas and Orange County. Although actually, ABC’s bio writer (never not praying for them) notes that Greer “took a risk and moved to New York City, where she loves living life to the fullest,” so if she and Zach do make it as a couple, they might have to do long distance.

She Wants a Guy Who Can Keep Up With Her

Is that Zach? Lol, we’ll see! Either way, Greer is “loyal and confident and is looking for a partner who can keep up with her quick wit and big personality.” Oh, and she’s also “a hopeless romantic and is a sucker for forehead kisses.” Wow, very specific. Anyway, here’s what ABC came up with for her “fun facts”:

• Greer loves to shop at flea markets.
• Greer says she is never embarrassed.
• Greer can tell a lot about someone by their sushi order.

One of Her Friends Is Also on the Show

According to Reality Steve, Greer is on The Bachelor with her BFF Gabriella “Gabi” Elnicki. Apparently, the pair were in the Pi Phi sorority at the University of Mississippi, where Gabriella was (potentially) Greer’s big sister.

Greer Gets Zach’s First Impression Rose

Which is a big deal and historically means she’ll make it at least somewhat far in the competition (we actually know exactly how far, so keep reading). Reality Steve was the first to report this news, writing that—on top of giving Greer the first impression rose—“Zach went out to the party bus with a group of girls and at one point was pouring champagne into Greer’s mouth.”

But She’s Eliminated in Hungary

While Greer makes it through six rose ceremonies unscathed, Reality Steve reports Zach breaks things off in Budapest. There’s no intel on what leads to their breakup just yet, but stay tuned for more details. Either way, the split happens right before hometown dates, so Greer *almost* got to introduce Zach to her parents.

Her Friend Gabriella Makes It to the Final 3

Unclear if she wins, but Greer’s BFF Gabriella makes it to hometowns and Zach’s final three, which could potentially be somewhat awkward...or not if everyone is mature and remembers they voluntarily went on a dating show to find love. Either way, keep an eye on Greer, because she seems like future Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise material!
