Tim McGraw Used His Famous Chicken and Dumplings Recipe to Woo Faith Hill
The way to Faith Hill’s heart, it turns out, is through her stomach.
In a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Hill's longtime husband Tim McGraw revealed that it was his cooking that brought them together all those years ago.
"Chicken and dumplings is a big go-to at our house, McGraw shared. “That's sort of how I hooked Faith, with chicken and dumplings.”
The hitmaker, who also happens to be quite the good cook, went on to explain how he decided to make his move while they were on tour together in the ‘90s.
“We were touring together. I didn’t know her too well, but she lived right down the road from me and I made some chicken and dumplings. I thought, you know, I'll take some chicken and dumplings and some cornbread down to Faith Hill and see how that works,” the country crooner recalled with a smirk.

And after more than 20 years of marriage and three children, McGraw still cooks his wife's favorite recipe on occasion.

"I still cook them every now and then to see if it still works," he joked.
"It worked!” Clarkson replied with a laugh. “I wanna be a fly on that wall."
