The country star has been sharing covers of his favorite holiday jingles in festive new Instagram posts.

Tim McGraw is ringing in the holiday season in the best way he knows how—with some country music!

The 55-year-old country crooner started up a new series on his Instagram page, where he sits down with some of his band members to play his renditions of some classic country Christmas songs.

For his latest clip, he covered country legend George Strait's track, "Christmas Cookies," while clearly taking some liberties to put his own spin on the 1999 hit.

In the festive video, which features McGraw sitting with two of his band members in front of a lit-up Christmas tree, the Louisiana native switches up the lyrics to make the performance a bit more humorous.

McGraw starts off by getting the lyrics right, singing, "I sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar/I sure do like those Christmas cookies, babe." But he then departs from Strait's original lyrics, "The ones that look like Santa Claus, Christmas trees and bells and stars," and instead sings, "The ones that look like Santa Claus, Christmas trees and stars and balls."

"Goofin' around and trying to make Bobby laugh with my own spin on the lyrics ;)" the Blind Side actor captioned his post, referencing guitarist Bob Minner who accompanies him in the clip.

And they definitely seemed to be having a good time, as the "Humble and Kind" singer is seen giggling and laughing throughout the clip, especially when he sings Strait's lyrics about "those little sprinkly things" that are put on top of cookies.

After finishing out the song, McGraw yells "Put another batch in the oven, baby," before ending the wholesome clip.

Late last month, the "Live Like You Were Dying" artist began his Instagram Christmas covers with a rendition of Merle Haggard's 1974 hit "If We Make It Through December" to kick off the holiday season.

"Little Holiday song to get us in the spirit. Here’s one of my favorites….'If we make it through December,'" McGraw captioned the clip, which was also shared to the official Instagram account of the late musician.

The account for Haggard—who passed away in 2016—also left a comment on McGraw's video, calling his cover of the popular song "So great!"

Hopefully McGraw has more holiday covers coming soon!
