Tim Allen Mocks the Network Change in Brand-New Teaser for ‘Last Man Standing’
Mike Baxter subtly thanks Fox for the renewal in this brand-new teaser for Last Man Standing.
The network just released a first look at the new and improved (sorta) series, and it appears there will be no shortage of ABC jokes.
The clip shows Mike (Allen) sitting around a campfire with his wife, Vanessa (Nancy Travis), who spots a fox in the distance.
“What is it?” Mike asks.
After Vanessa repeats “fox” several times, Mike says what we’re all thinking: “I know somebody’s gonna be happy you said that three times.”
In May 2017, ABC blindsided fans when it canceled the sitcom after six seasons. One year later, Fox swooped in to revive the series for the fall 2018 season.
Take that, ABC. Last Man Standing will premiere on Friday, September 28, on Fox.
