Sali Al-Digs (@salialdigs) is a parent and TikToker who shares a mix of funny parenting videos and adorable videos of her kids. In a recent video, Sali shared “the only sound that scares moms,” and it’s hilariously relatable! The sound that scares moms? Silence!

The video begins with a shot of Sali walking into her bedroom. The mom wears a white sweatsuit and tan headscarf and is holding a phone in one hand and a laundry basket in the other. She smiles serenely as she scrolls through her phone and places the laundry basket on the bed. In the background, Sali’s kids can be heard loudly playing.
“The only sound that scares moms,” Sali writes in a caption.
Sali overturns the laundry basket and drops her clean laundry onto the bed to begin sorting it. Her kids can be heard yelling, their play becoming increasingly rough. Things can be heard falling and crashing in another room, but Sali doesn’t even bother to look up. She continues to smile peacefully as she sorts the laundry.

As Sali folds a pair of pants, the sounds her kids are making reaches a fever pitch. One child screams in a high pitched voice. Still, Sali continues to sort laundry.
But then, all of a sudden, everything goes silent. Sali looks up, a concerned expression crossing her face. Now that she can no longer hear her children playing, the mom is worried. The video ends with Sali running out of the room to check on her kids.
Sali’s relatable video had viewers cracking up!
“When it’s quiet they did something wrong,” one viewer wrote.
“Lol 1000%. When any kid goes quiet on my watch, I run,” one parent commented.
“I swear, silence is the worst nightmare a mother can have,” another parent chimed in.
Sali’s video shows that sometimes, the scariest sound a parent can hear is no sound at all!
