This TikToker Fact-Checked A Guy's Height On Tinder Using Corona Beer Bottles And Photoshop

From Delish

We all know how easy it can be to lie on dating apps–especially about height. One brilliant TikTok user figured out how to fact-check that without seeing the person IRL, and she did it using Corona beer bottles and a photo editing app.

In a short tutorial, TikToker @gadelhaha shows how she skillfully determined a guy’s real height. The guy in question features a photo on his Tinder profile of him and a friend holding Corona beer bottles. Naturally, she looked up the height of the bottles, which turned out to be 9.5 inches. She then took a screenshot of the guy’s photo to a photo editing app where she replicated one of the beer bottles multiple times. She lined them up to match his height and used a little math to translate it to feet, which came out at 5 feet 11.25 inches.

Honestly, that’s not even the best part! The guy in the photo saw this video and commented on it saying, “I’m actually 5’11” and 1/8 😂 why this so accurate though.” We have confirmation the method works!

Others are cracking up over the trick in the comments. “Albert Einstein Rolling in his grave RN,” one person wrote. “My jaw was on the floor the whole time, I’m so impressed,” another commented.

If you don't want to go through all of that photo editing trouble, another TikToker shows how you can just use math to figure it out:

OK, but what if the person in question isn’t holding a beer bottle? This trick would likely work with any bottle or object you can determine the height of. And that, ladies and gents, is the beauty of photo editing apps (and math)!
