TikTok continues to surprise us with some major reveals and this one might be the biggest one yet, especially for Gossip Girl fans.

While the rest of us watched 6 seasons of Gossip Girl with hopes of finding out who the mastermind behind the blog was, TikTok user @yussijuicy2.0 found a major clue from the first episode that basically gave away Gossip Girl's identity a few minutes in.

In a voice over, Gossip Girl says, "And who am I? That's a secret I'll never tell." However, we immediately see Dan appear behind the computer screen hinting at the fact that he's actually Gossip Girl.

While this seems like an obvious clue, Dan wasn’t ever supposed to be Gossip Girl.

"We worked hard to kind of lay in tiny seeds about it being Eric," producer Joshua Safran told Bustle. "Then the NY Post wrote an article saying that Gossip Girl was Eric so we were like, 'We gotta scratch that.'"

Joshua also revealed that Nate was also up for consideration to being Gossip Girl, but that plan quickly changed in season five.

"Nate never sent a tip in through all of those episodes, which is when we're like, 'Oh, well then he's Gossip Girl.'" That later changed when Nate started sending in tips. However, Joshua later left the show after season five, so he didn't have a say in the big Dan reveal.

With a brand new Gossip Girl reboot in the works, we're definitely going to use our detective skills again to figure out who the new blogger leader is.
