TikTok Is Thirsting Over the New Purple 'Wiggles' Cast Member

He's capturing the hearts of moms all over the world.

The Wiggles have always been nothing short of iconic, but the children's musicians of today are not the same as those of yesteryear.

Since the original group retired, other Wiggles have come and gone as the Australian band continues to tour to sold-out crowds full of enthusiastic kids, begrudging parents, and even the odd nostalgic millennial, and one new member has captivated TikTok's attention.

John Pearce, 31, who you may also recognize from his stint on Australian Ninja Warrior, joined the group in 2021, according to his TikTok page, but it wasn't until this week that the world really took notice.

It seems to have started with a TikTok posted in late December, which suddenly started hitting everyone's FYP in the last few days, alongside posts from the Wiggle in question.

In it, a mom named Evelien uploaded a selfie-style video of herself in which she enacts spotting Pearce on TV for the first time, letting her hair down to blow in the wind after doing so. "When you turn on the tv for your toddler and notice the new purple wiggle," she wrote over the video, which was backtracked by Taylor Swift's "Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)."

The comments flooded with agreement and suddenly the FYP was packed full of more Purple Wiggle content.

"My 15 yo isn’t too old for the wiggles right?" one mom questioned.

"They didn’t make wiggles like these when I was young," another comment lamented.

"The wiggles ratings rn 📈," wrote another.

Others pointed out that he is also a part of Australian boyband Justice Crew, a weird feeling for those who loved him as kids themselves: "He was our teen heartthrob when he was in justice crew! Feels so weird seeing him entertain my kids now 😂"

Pearce himself even entered the chat, dropping a few emojis, "😂😂😅💜," in the comments.

Three of his last five TikToks have raked in over a million views each—with one hitting over four million—and it seems like all of TikTok has entered his comment section since he went viral.

He posts everything from dancing videos to outfit transitions, occasionally showing off his expansive set of tattoos, and the TikTokverse is practically begging for more.

"POV: you just saw the moms TT about the new purple wiggle…she wasn’t wrong," one comment read.

"'Mommy we don’t want to watch Wiggles' 'shhh mommy does,'" another joked.

"good to know my daughter & i can both enjoy the wiggles now lmao," read another.

The barage of thirsty viewers continued:
