Payton Moormeier may only be 16 years old, but he's got a huge following online. With over 12 million followers on TikTok, his lip-syncing videos get millions of views. Now, Payton is starting his music career. He's released his first single "Love Letter" and the song's music video has over 430k views so far. His TikToks get millions of views
Payton's got a babyface so that has to get him some attention, but his TikTok is full of lip-sync videos of him just being silly. Every so often there's a dancing video that usually has a caption saying he doesn't dance.
Some of his most poplular TikToks have as much as 15 million views.
He's released his first single its music video
Payton's music career is just getting started but he says he's loved music for years. In a YouTube video he posted in March 2020, he says, "Music's a huge part of my life. I started to get into music when I was 9 years old and I fell in love with it ever since then."
In May 2020, Payton released the music video for his first single "Love Letter" and it got over 400k views in one day.
Insecurities stopped him from releasing music earlier
In that same YouTube video," Payton says insecurities got the best of him. "Music has been such a big part of my life but I never showed it because [I'm] really self-conscious about that stuff, get really insecure about it and I never showed any of that on social media because it was a personal thing that I did. I made music personally for my own ears and I played guitar for my own ears."
