TikTok Is Spiraling Over Jennifer Aniston’s Scary-Good Doppelgänger
It’s already a huge compliment for anyone to say that you’ve got hair like Jennifer Aniston’s—I mean, hello, the length, the impeccably placed highlights, the SHINE!—but to be told you actually look like Jennifer Aniston is a different ego-stroking beast altogether. Sadly, the Jennifer Aniston look-alike compliments didn’t happen to me, but TikToker Lisa Tranel quickly found herself going viral on the app for exactly that over the weekend!
It all started when Lisa casually posted a video of herself lip-syncing the words to one of Jennifer’s scenes as Rachel Green in Friends, where she talks to Monica about wanting to quit her job. “I want to quit, but then I think I should stick it out. Then I think, why would such a person stay in such a demeaning job just because it’s remotely related to the field they are interested in,” Rachel says in the audio.
Shortly after posting, the video racked up more than 4.7 million—yes, MILLION—views and counting on the platform, with people hopping in Lisa’s comments section to tell her just how much she looks like Jennifer Aniston in the short clip. And for the record, she 100 percent does, down to the highlighted blonde hair, flawless complexion, and blue eyes.
One TikTok user commented on the vid and wrote, “I actually thought it was Jennifer Aniston. Wow!!” (my actual reaction), while someone else made the fabulous suggestion for a crossover, saying, “Someone tag Jennifer Aniston and get them together.” Another astute observer believes that Lisa “could have been a 3rd Greene [sic] sister.” Yep, I totally see it:
