Ana Morales (@ababelmoralezz) is a mom and TikToker who shares parenting hacks, recipes, and videos of her adorable baby, Ethan. In a recent video, Ana shared her brilliant hack for removing a Band-Aid without causing pain. The trick? Use Vaseline!

The video begins with a shot of Ethan lying on a bed wearing a camouflage onesie. The baby has a Band-Aid on his thigh and a caption reads, “Mom hack.”
Ana reaches for the Band-Aid and begins to pick at the edge, but it doesn’t budge. Then, Ana shakes her finger at the camera, as if to say, “Don’t do this.”
Next, Ana grabs a container of Vaseline and a pink silicone brush. She holds the container of Vaseline up to the camera, revealing that its label reads, “Healing jelly” and “Pediatrician-recommended.” In the background, Ethan waves a toy in the air, unaware that his mom is about to remove his Band-Aid.
Ana opens the Vaseline and dips the brush in, thoroughly coating it. Then, she begins painting Vaseline across the Band-Aid. Ana repeatedly brushes the Band-Aid, covering it in multiple layers of Vaseline, and making sure it is fully coated.

Then, after letting the Vaseline soak in a little bit, Ana simply peels the Band-Aid off. Instead of having to rip it off, the Band-Aid peels off easily, without hurting Ethan’s skin. In fact, the baby seems unaware anything is even happening!
The video ends with Ana using a tissue to wipe the excess Vaseline off of Ethan’s leg.
