TikTok loses its mind over 'toxic' reality show clip

TikTok just discovered the 2003 nightmare reality show, Are You Hot?. The premise of the show is simple: Three judges examine groups of shirtless men and bikini-clad women on a stage in front of a live audience... . and rate their physical features on a scale of one to 10, with 10 being the “hottest”. A TikToker who goes by Mills found a clip of the show and couldn’t believe it was real. “It is so toxic that I even feel bad filming this part without makeup,” Mills said at the beginning of the video. The subsequent footage features a clip in which the judges tell one contestant that her face was “a five” but her body was “a nine”. “Why would they go on this show?” one TikTok commenter asked. “How did this even get greenlit?” another user questioned.
