This Tiki Bar Is Known For Its Insane Cocktails

From Delish

Last summer, my friend told me about this really cool tiki bar she went to. Aside from asking why I wasn't invited, I couldn't get over the photo of the drink she showed me. Why? It was on FIRE. The bar she went to is The Polynesian, and I knew I had to go.

They serve three different drinks that go up in glames. The Vaya Kon Tiki is the signature one, and it's chock-full of coconut, pineapple, and two different types of rum. The Derelict has banana liquor, bourbon, and four types of rum so it will leave you feeling, you know, derelict if you have one too many. But the boss is the Chief Lapu Lapu which is full of Grand Marnier, three types of rum, orange liqueur, honey, and three different fruit juices.

And somehow those fiery drinks aren't even the coolest ones. That honor is reserved for the Exotica Bowl and Humuhumunukunukuapua'a (try saying that after a few drinks). The Exotica Bowl is big on the presentation since the drink is in a fishbowl that's placed in a giant shell filled with dry ice. But it's what's on the inside that matters, and this drink does not disappoint: It's refreshing, not too sweet, and addictive.

The Humuhumunukunukuapua'a, which I can't even say sober, is named after the state fish of Hawaii and is appropriately served in a fishbowl. Beware.

If you want something classic, I highly recommend the Mai Tai. While it may look simple compared to the others, I can guarantee it's just as strong.
