Tiffany Haddish Just Shaved Her Head

Tiffany Haddish is best known as the comedian who makes us laugh until our stomach hurt, but for today, at least, she'll be known as the comedian who just cut off all her hair — and it's certainly not a joke.

Haddish took to Instagram in a series of three IGTV posts to show the process to her fans. The actor started the dramatic cut by sharing her reasoning behind it in the caption: "Cut my hair! I cut all my hair off cause I want to see my scalp. I know my whole body I know where every mole is but I don't know my Scalp. So hello scalp #SheReady to everything," she wrote.

In the first video, Haddish shows off her faux locs and starts cutting them off, giving herself positive reminders like, "It's going to grow back," and, "Today's a good day!" In the comment section, hairstylist Lacy Redway was motivating her even more, writing, "You finally did it!!!! Freedom!! Love it Tiff. Hair doesn't define us and you know we got the wigs on deck if we choose to❗️❗️❗️" Ain't that the truth?

In the second video, the comedian reassures fans that she hasn't lost her mind. Haddish says in the video that nothing is wrong with her brain and that she simply just wants to see her moles. "I have 100 moles all over my body, but how many do I have on my scalp?" she says. Haddish also says that this is something she has wanted to do for a long time, so she's excited to finally be doing it.

She also talks about her plans for her new look. "I'm gonna keep it super natural, and maybe I'll put some brown in it with some Sun-In, or I'll keep it really natural and lighten it with some lemon juice," she says. The actor feels really good about it. Her sister told her she's going to cry tomorrow about the cut, but Haddish feels otherwise.

And in the last video, Haddish's friend, Precious, takes the clippers to her head to finish off the buzzcut. "Precious is evening it out for me," she says. Towards the end of the clip, when her hair was just about completely cut, she went live with Ghanaian actor Michael Blackson to reveal her new look.

The two joked around, but Haddish jumped with joy over her new hairstyle, screaming, "I love it, I love it." And Tiffany, so do we. She looks as stunning as ever.
