Tiffany Haddish claps back at claims she shaved her head for emotional reasons

Thanks to, er... 2020 in general, we've seen a fair share of celebrity hair transformations, especially on lockdown - from celebrities dying their hair pink or cutting in their own hair (hey, Alexa Chung) and even carrying out DIY fringe 'trims' (looking at you, Bella Hadid).

But absolute legend Tiffany Haddish has just totally raised the game with a series of beautiful hair transformations during the month of July.

To catch you up: In an IGTV earlier in July she cut off her long locks, explaining in the caption that she wanted to 'get to know her scalp'.

Then, last week she posted a follow-up video explaining in more depth her (perfectly valid) reasons for taking to the clippers, and addressing those who had jumped to conclusions:

"Nothing is wrong...! I'm not suffering from no emotional shit, nothing. I've literally been talking about this for years."

After reiterating that she'd always wanted to see her scalp, she explained that the decision was also part of scheduled hair maintenance.

"I've gotta just tell y'all, I thought I'd cut it off because it was so dusty. I had those braids in for two months, right, and I cut everything off. And it was dusty, and I jumped in the shower, and it's the first time I've ever taken a shower and was not concerned about getting my hair we. And that sh*t felt good than a motherf*cker!"

And then, finally, Tiffany posted a video of a DIY clipper trim as she took the final leap to achieving a smooth, beautiful head.

And if this selfie is anything to go by, I can imagine she's absolutely living for those results. That bone structure! 🔥

Loads of celebs have rushed to send their compliments to Tiffany - our gal Kelly Rowland commented on the selfie: "She don't need no hair, she is Gorgeously gorgeous!" - and we would have to agree.
