If you've been watching Hulu's new comedy series, Only Murders In The Building, then you already know what I'm about to dive into. Since the first episode premiered, fans have been trying to decode the mystery within the murder mystery: who the hell is Tie Die Guy? He was mysteriously at the Arconia following Tim Kono's murder, which makes him an easy target as a potential suspect.

Because his identity is such a mystery, there was even a massive group of Tie Dye Guys hanging out behind Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Steve Martin in New York City.

Who is Tie Dye Guy?

The identity of Tie Dye Guy was finally revealed in episode 5, and the result may shock you. He follows Mabel into an alley, and to her surprise, it turned out to be Oscar, one of the Hardy Boys at the Arconia. According to Mabel, he's the super's son and has access to all the apartments in the building. Because of this, he still sounds a little sus.

Why was Oscar introduced later in the season?

While fans caught a glimpse of Oscar in an earlier episode, we finally get to hear a little more of his story in episode 5 when he reunites with Mabel. In case you forgot, Oscar was wrongfully accused of pushing his ex-girlfriend, Zoey, off the rooftop of the Arconia. As a result, he was arrested for 10 years but finally got out. On the night of Tim's murder, Oscar told Mabel that he was on his way to find her because she was the first person he wanted to see after his dad.

Are Mabel and Oscar dating?

There's no official word just yet when it comes to their relationship status, but we do know that they have some serious chemistry based on their reunion. Also, I don't know about you, but friends don't react the way Oscar did when he saw Mabel's outfit on New Year's Eve all those years ago. 👀
