Tia Mowry Just Shared a Gorgeous Gray Hair Selfie: "This Is Me. 42"

Tia Mowry is 42 and proud of everything that comes with it—including her natural gray curls. Like her twin sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Mowry's been letting her grays grow in during quarantine, and the results are gorgeous. The actress and entrepreneur shared a warm selfie with a natural-makeup look on August 4, and both her photo and her caption radiate well-earned confidence.

"This is Me. 42," Mowry wrote.

The pic is a visual bookend to Mowry's April 15 Instagram post, in which she showed off how the short-cropped cut she got in January had become salt-and-pepper along her hairline. "It’s been me and my #fro as of late," she wrote back in the spring (anyone else feel like you've had three quarantine eras within quarantine?).

"It’s a blessing to age. Grey [sic] hairs are signs of wisdom," Mowry reflected in another Insta update the following week in April. "Wrinkles are signs that you’ve laughed. Stretch marks and stretched out stomachs are the beautiful miraculous signs of giving birth. No more perky boobs are the signs that you once fed your babies. Embrace it. Because getting older, growing older, being HERE is beautiful." Hear, hear, sister, sister.

This week, Mowry also unveiled a new project she's been cooking up: A home decor and "entertaining essentials" collection created in collaboration with Etsy.

"To bring this exclusive collection together, I worked with nine amazing Etsy artisans to co-design products that will help you create a relaxing, one-of-a-kind oasis filled with neutral textiles, natural elements, and paired-down storage solutions," Mowry wrote in her announcement post, posing with a few farmhouse-chic wares from the line.
