Tia Mowry-Hardrict Reveals That Her Daughter, Cairo, Is Obsessed with ‘Black Panther’

She told us, "I was trying to figure out what she wanted to watch, and I kept on pointing to the sing-alongs and kid-friendly movies. Then she just had this huge tantrum, because I wasn't getting it right. So, my brother Tahj was over and I said, 'Tahj, can you pick her up so she can point to whatever movie she wants to watch?' And it was Black Panther."

She continued, "She loves this movie and I never thought that she would, but she loves the music and the drums and the beat. She just starts to dance to it. And then she'll even try to sing along where there's a little bit of singing. She's obsessed." TBH, same.

The actress also discussed her favorite holiday family traditions: wearing matching pajamas and donating to the needy. While discussing the PJ ritual, she said, “It first started with me having Cree. Making memorable moments is so important to me, and family and tradition is so important for me, and I thought that this would be the perfect way to create memorable moments and have great pictures for the kids and the family, and it’s just something that we truly love doing.”

The Family Reunion star explained that she values giving back during the holidays because she finds it "purposeful" and wants to be an example to her kids, Cairo and Cree (9).

We imagine that Cairo's Christmas will involve at least one viewing of Black Panther—and we just might follow suit.
