Marvel's Norse god survived a deity-killing apocalypse on Asgard, an Earth-altering snap, and now? He's got to deal with romance. Or lack thereof. The thunder-wielding superhero is back in his fourth MCU installment and along with his various friends, foes, and exes, Thor will have to discover who he wants to be after narrowly defeating Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.

Although the trailer didn't tell us too much, we know there's sure to be a few fan-favorite appearances, like Valkyrie and Jane Foster–who appears to have bulked up to take on Thor's superhero mantle for herself. We also get a glimpse of Chris Pratt as Star Lord (Pratt is also Men's Health magazine cover star for the July/August 2022 issue). And there's a new villain named Gorr the God Butcher played by an enjoyably creepy Christian Bale. And early reviews, like ours, speak to the film's similar feel to 2017's Thor: Ragnarok, which shifted the hero's standalone films from mostly serious to comical and light-hearted fare. Marvel fans looking for a good time are sure to have fun with Love and Thunder.

Thor: Love and Thunder is out in theaters now, but like previous MCU films, it'll eventually leave the theaters and find a more permanent home on Disney+. So, when can we expect the newest Marvel release to hit the streaming service? We've got a good guess, and suspect it'll come sooner than you think.

When Does Thor: Love and Thunder Come to Disney+?

Marvel has yet to announce a date for when Thor: Love and Thunder will hit its streaming service, but we have a good idea of when the film could be available to watch at home. Marvel's last release, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was released in theaters on May 6, 2022. It came to Disney+ not long after, on June 22, 2022. If Thor: Love and Thunder follows a similar schedule, it's possible the film, which hit theaters on July 8, 2022, could be on Disney+ by the end of August.
