Thomas Rhett's Wife Tried to Pop Champagne for His 30th Birthday and It Went So Wrong
Today is country singer Thomas Rhett's 30th birthday.
Even though he and his family are staying home, his wife Lauren is making the most out of his special day.
It’s no secret that Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren Akins are totally #couplegoals. From their romantic marriage to the birth of their third child, the adorable, relatable duo has had plenty to celebrate in recent years.
Today is Thomas Rhett's 30th birthday, but like so many of us, he and his family are staying at home due to the coronavirus pandemic. But as evidenced by his Instagram post this morning, nothing is going to stop Lauren from helping him make some birthday memories.

In the video clip, Lauren is seen in her pajamas trying (a bit unsuccessfully) to open a bottle of champagne for a batch of birthday mimosas. Thomas Rhett offers words of encouragement as she tries her hardest to pop the cork on the bottle of bubbly, and you can hear adorable birthday chatter from his two oldest daughters, Willa Gray and Ada James, in the background.
When Lauren finally succeeds in opening the bottle, things don't quite go as planned (it happens to the best of us!), but clearly their family of five is making the most of their time at home together. Cheers to Thomas and Lauren's good spirits as they celebrate his special day!
