Thomas Rhett's Wedding Anniversary Post to Lauren Akins Will Give You All the Feels

Thomas Rhett proved he and wife Lauren Akins were meant to be from the start in his sweet post celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary.
On Oct. 12, the country crooner penned a thoughtful message on Instagram, recalling special moments from their epic love story, from their first date to their nuptials.
"I can still remember what she looked like in first grade. I still remember how much taller than me she was at church camp in 6th grade. I still remember picking her up on our first date at 16. I still remember how fast my heart was beating when she walked down the aisle," he wrote.
Rhett continued, "Basically I remember it all so vividly. I can’t believe how much life we have gotten to share together."
He noted that she has "been and always will be" his best friend and he thanks God for her "every single day." The singer ended his message writing, " I love you so much. Thank you for loving me and everyone you know so well. Happy anniversary 🙌 you+me+4."
He accompanied the tear-jerking post with three photos showing the couple sharing affectionate moments over the years.
Akins also celebrated their milestone with an Instagram post of her own. She kept hers simple, writing, "what 11 years with you looks like🤍 happy anni cutie 🥰." She paired it with two family photos featuring the couple with their four daughters—Willa Gray, 7, Ada James, 5, Lennon Love, 3, and Lillie Carolina, 1, which appear to be taken during their 4th of July getaway.
