Thomas Markle Sr. Says He Enjoys Making the Entire Royal Family Not Speak to Him
After a source told Entertainment Tonight that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are "frustrated" with Thomas Markle Sr.'s never-ending press tour, he called his good friends at TMZ to let them know that he can't stop, won't stop with the media attention.
"I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up every day saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story," he told the outlet. "Apparently that interview put the Royal Family in their silence mode ... so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me.”
This is the man who, lest you forget, pulled out of walking his daughter down the aisle, like, five days before her *royal wedding, and although he did have heart surgery that same week, there was also a little incident where it was revealed that he had staged paparazzi photos of himself for cash.
THEN, after the wedding he gave two separate TV interviews to try to "clear the air" about the whole thing. He hasn't spoken to Meghan since the wedding, and he said he has no way of contacting her. He's getting a little tired of the royal family's silent treatment, he also said, which is technically contradictory to his earlier statement.
"Tomorrow is my birthday, 74 years old, and I’m enjoying the fact that I can make the entire Royal Family not speak and maybe I can get a laugh out of the Duchess."
