This Bride Wore All Black On Her Wedding Day, Made It Work

Watch any episode of ‘Don’t Tell The Bride’ and you’re bound to see a bride in hysterical tears because her hubby-to-be has put her in a zombie apocalypse styled wedding dress instead of that traditional white one she’s been lusting after from her Pinterest page.
However, there would have been no tears when 25-year-old mum and blogger Sophie Cachia went to her wedding dress fitting to try on her jet black gown.
Sophie chose to steer clear of tradition and walk down the aisle in a beautiful black number. With it’s intricate beading and fishtail skirt, the dramatic dress, designed by Anthony Montesano from Signor Mont Couture, won’t be to everyone’s liking but it looked fantastic on this particular bride.

A black wedding dress might seem crazy to most of us, but for Sophie it felt more natural than donning a crisp white frock.
“I always wear black anyway,” she told Daily Mail Australia. “I didn’t want anything traditional … everyone has a wedding, why does everyone have to do everything the same, there’s no rule book” [via Daily Mail].
Sophie wasn’t the only person wearing black on her big day - each of her bridesmaid donned the hue, too.
This may not been a traditional wedding, but it sure was chic.
