This $10 cream calmed my irritated, winter-induced eczema in less than one week

Winter always brings with it a lot of great things — the holiday season, snow days and gingerbread lattes, just to name a few. But one not-so-great thing that also comes around every winter is my cold-weather-induced eczema. I have extremely sensitive skin, but for most of the year, I'm able to keep it in check with a gentle skin-care routine. So when red, itchy patches pop up near my nose, mouth and at the top of my arms, it's annoying, to put it mildly. Or at least it was until I started using MG217 Eczema Body Cream. This hypoallergenic cream soothes my rough, scaly skin instantly and clears it up within days. I've tried several solutions, from high-end formulas to dermatologist-prescribed gels, and nothing works as well for me as well as this $10 cream.

This hypoallergenic cream is effective, but also incredibly gentle. Bonus: no post-use acne breakouts.

Some important facts: MG217's Eczema Body Cream is steroid-, fragrance- and paraben-free and is accepted by the National Eczema Association.

As far as application, just a dab from this 6-ounce tube goes a long way. I apply a pea-sized amount in the morning and at night to my irritated areas (tip: be sure to rub it in completely). This cream contains 2% colloidal oatmeal, which works to soothe super-dry skin but doesn't absorb immediately. If I plan on wearing makeup that day, I try to give myself time to let MG217 soak in before layering anything on top.

I also love that this cream doesn't sting my already-irritated skin. It provides long-lasting relief from my symptoms and is also a skin protectant. I reach for it year after year when the weather turns. Simply put: I truly can't recommend this stuff enough. And I'm not its only fan: More than 1,100 Amazon shoppers have given MG217's Eczema Body Cream five-star ratings.

"I have eczema on the backs of my hands. I also wash my hands, what seems like a million times a day," related one happy reviewer. "I use this stuff once, maybe twice a day ... in the morning when I get out of the shower, then sometimes mid- to late afternoon. My hands have cleared up beautifully. This stuff is thick and seems greasy at first, but that greasy feeling quickly goes away and I'm left with soft skin on my hands. I have used CeraVe and a prescription steroid cream (intermittently, as directed) for years, and this stuff works so well I feel like I don't need the other stuff anymore."

Exclaimed another fan, "I didn't know my skin could be [this] clear." They went on to say, "My whole life, I've been surrounded by moisturizers. ... I had no idea my skin could be so even and clear. I had no idea how much less I could itch."

This cream gave another pleased shopper "immediate relief." They said: "While not a diagnosed case of eczema, I had dry patches on my face from winter weather and using a lotion that made it worse. This cream was very soothing and I felt improvement by the next day. ... I used it for a week and will keep it handy for similar cases. When other moisturizers, face creams and lotions only seemed to make things worse, this really made a difference."

You can apply this up to four times a day. And oh yeah: It's formulated with SalSphere Skin Repair Complex to leave your skin balanced and moisturized.
