THINX Is Launching Quick-Drying Period-Proof Underwear

In June, the brand is launching the fastest-drying period proof underwear available.

This just in: Everyone’s favorite period-proof underwear brand THINX has announced it is launching an all-new, innovative style on June 5 — the THINX Air, a lightweight, quick-drying version of its signature, award winning briefs. Made with cooling and sweat-wicking micro-mesh fabric, the breathable underwear dries within nine hours, which is twice as fast as a standard pair of THINX dries, and has the capacity to absorb the same amount as one and a half tampons.

In anticipation of the launch, Maria Molland, CEO of THINX, told Teen Vogue, “THINX Air is a major enhancement to our already original, cutting-edge products.” Designed to fight odors, absorb liquid, and prevent leaks, THINX Air will be available in the brand’s signature black and ocean colors and the styles include the THINX Air Hiphugger and THINX Air Bikini. Molland says, “Like all of THINX underwear styles, THINX Air is sustainable, hand-washable, and hangs dry.”

Since its founding, in 2014, THINX has helped smash stigmas surrounding menstruation with its clever advertisements and range of innovative products, bringing periods into the mainstream conversation.
