We think the Galaxy S23 Ultra is the best camera phone – and Marvel seems to think so too
Samsung and Marvel have teamed up to create one of the best ads we've seen in a long time. It promotes Loki Season 2, and showcases one of the best camera phones on the market– the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra.
We already know that this smartphone camera has some excellent and impressive features, but did you know that it can translate words from an ancient Greek monument in real-time using Google Lens? And as the video below shows, the S23 Ultra can enhance medieval bounty posters at night using its low-light camera – and is super handy if you want to take selfies with Renaissance aristocrats!
The new promotional video titled 'All Hail Loki' proves not only that Marvel Studios approves of this next-gen smartphone, but that it's worthy of use by The Time Variance Authority (TVA) agents to hunt down the God of Mischief too. The ad is not only fun and lighthearted but cinematic (and spoiler-free) too. And I think it allows the Galaxy S23 Ultra to shine in a fun and playful way.
Fans have responded really well to this Samsung X Marvel ad collab, with commenters stating, "Whoever made this needs a raise", and "I'm an Apple user but this really is one of the best ads I've seen in recent years, love this". Perhaps other tech companies should take note of this example of exquisite-level branding.
The God of Mischief himself, Loki Laufeyson, is back on our screens in Loki Season 2, with episodes 1-3 now streaming on Disney Plus. New episodes are expected every Friday in the UK, and Samsung is offering 12 months of Disney+ for free with the purchase of a new Galaxy S23 Ultra handset, until January 2024.

Portrayed by Tom Hiddleston, Loki has undergone some serious character development throughout this series, caught up in the turbulence of the TVA while protecting the lives of those existing on new branches of the Sacred timeline with the help of Mobius (Owen Wilson).
Not to mention, animated AI Miss Minutes is up to no good and the entire multiverse is under threat from an array of He Who Remains (Kang the Conqueror) variants. Loki is the only Marvel Disney Plus show yet to have received a second season, so it's definitely worth a watch in our opinion.
