(WHTM) — It’s the second weekend in May and that means Mother’s Day is here. Whether you’re looking for a way to celebrate, or just a fun way to spend your weekend, there are plenty of options in the Midstate. Here is abc27’s list of events happening from Friday, May 10 to Sunday, May 12.

Mother’s Day events in Central Pennsylvania

Harrisburg area

Wild About Dogs — Harrisburg’s Wildwood Park is hosting its third annual “Wild About Dogs” event this Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to attend and features a dog scavenger hunt, pet-centered vendors, and treats for both dogs and humans.

Mother’s Day Social — The Antique Marketplace of Lemoyne is having a Mother’s Day Social this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will feature children’s activities and moms will have the chance to win a free gift card.

Hershey area

Jon Batiste –Multi-Grammy and Oscar award winning musician Jon Batiste is coming to Hershey this Saturday, May 11 in one of four East Coast exclusive shows. He is performing at the Hershey Theatre at 8 p.m. and more information can be found on the Hershey Entertainment website.

Carlisle area

First Block Party — This Saturday, May 11 is LoveCarlisle’s first Second Saturday block party of the year. The event will be located in the corridor of South Hanover and Pomfret Streets.

Earth’s Love Your Mother — Earth Artisan & Outfitter is hosting a Mother’s Day event this Saturday and Sunday to celebrate both mothers and Mother Earth. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and will feature activities, treats, earth-based art and more.

Line dancing — The Barn at Creek’s Bend in Carlisle is hosting line dancing this Friday, May 10 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event costs $5 at the door and you must be 18 years to participate. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Mother’s Day Weekend event — Battlefield Harley-Davidson in Gettysburg is having a Mother’s Day even this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will feature vendors, music and food trucks.

Lebanon area

Mother’s Day Craft & Vendor Show — There will be a Mother’s Day Craft and Vendor show this weekend at the Lebanon Valley Mall. The event will run from Friday to Sunday at the Lebanon Valley Mall and will benefit the Lebanon County Humane Society.
