Free-admission deals for moms at zoo, museums

Several of Milwaukee's biggest attractions are offering free admission for moms on May 12, Mother's Day. Among them: the Milwaukee County Zoo (10001 W. Blue Mound Road, open 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), the Milwaukee Public Museum (800 W. Wells St., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), Discovery World (500 N. Harbor Drive, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.), the Harley-Davidson Museum (400 W. Canal St., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Old World Wisconsin (W372-S9727 Highway 67 in the town of Eagle, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). ‘Little Women’ with Mother’s Day brunch at Marcus Theatres

Take Mom out for brunch and a movie at 11 a.m. May 12 at Marcus Theatres' Bistroplex Southridge, Majestic, Movie Tavern Brookfield Square and Ridge cinemas, where they're serving a full brunch menu and screening Greta Gerwig's 2019 adaptation of "Little Women." Springfest in Lincoln Park

The Friends of Lincoln Park host Springfest, including food and drink, a nature walk, community information, recyclable art projects and more from noon to 3 p.m. May 11 in the park, 1301 W. Hampton Ave. Admission is free. Info: Lincoln Park Friends Facebook page.

Mother's Day Wildflower Walk in Lake Park

The Lake Park Friends host their annual Mother's Day Wildflower Walk from 1 to 3 p.m. May 12. The guided walk starts at the park's warming house at 2975 N. Lake Park Road. Admission is free. Info: lakeparkfriends.org.

Rummage-O-Rama

Rummage-O-Rama's last sale before fall is this weekend at the Waukesha Expo Center, 1000 Northview Road, Waukesha. The long-running flea market is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 11 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 12. Admission is $5, $3 for seniors and members of the military, and free for kids younger than 12.
