People can enjoy the outdoors with the city's second annual Community Field Day, have a dance with Mom, grab a coffee with classic cars or take in some vintage baseball.

Here are all the details:

1. Worthy Cause Community Field Day

It'll be a great day to get outdoors and head down to the park for fun and games for the whole family.

A Worthy Cause will host its second annual Community Field Day from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Riverwalk Park,

Community Field Day will feature lots of team-oriented events, which will be played for cash prizes. There will also be a Kid Zone for younger kids, with more games and activities set up throughout the park. Offerings include corn hole, sidewalk chalk, bounce houses and an onsite firetruck.

This will also be an opportunity learn more about Worthy Cause's mission, which is "to create space for the community and youth to learn about mindfulness, nutrition and movement.

"The goal of these events is to create an environment that includes and promotes our focus points of mindfulness, nutrition and movement as a way to raise money for community aid, programs and workshops," the event's website says.

2. Mommy & Me Dance at Mule Town Lumberyard

Get dressed up and visit the Columbia Arts District's newly upgraded South Garden Street area for a dance with Mom.

Mule Town Lumberyard, 1104 S. Garden St, will host a Mommy & Me Dance starting at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets are $40, with $15 for any additional sibling, and available by calling (931) 215-2967 or visiting Mule Town Lumberyard's website. They are non-refundable.

The night will include a DJ, refreshments and photo booth as well as a big balloon drop at the end of the night, which will be at about 7 p.m.

3. Columbia Cars & Coffee

Classic car lovers will want to wake up early Saturday for another Columbia Cars & Coffee event.

This event will start at 8 a.m. in the 801 Woodland St. parking lot, commonly known as Motor Alley, and will run through 11 a.m.

Columbia Cars & Coffee will continue throughout the summer and fall, occurring every third Saturday of the month.

4. Barehanded Baseball at Rippavilla

Historic Rippavilla will host its opening day of vintage baseball with Spring Hill's The Quicksteps, as well as teams from Stones River and Nashville. The free event will feature two games starting at noon and 2 p.m. Sunday.

The Quicksteps will square off against the Stones River Scouts, followed by a second match featuring Nashville's Maroons and the Phoenix of East Nashville.

Each year, the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball celebrates the sport's origins, which date back to the 19th century. And these players go really old school, meaning no gloves, pads or helmets. It's all barehanded.

Ballgames begin at noon and 2 p.m. Sunday at Historic Rippavilla, 5700 Main St. They are free to attend, but guests are encouraged to bring a blanket, chair or shading.

5. Live entertainment

Bobby Coverston will perform at The Factory at Columbia, 101 N. James M. Campbell Blvd., starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Tom Saffell & Robert Johnson will perform at McCreary's Irish Pub & Eatery, 814 S. Main St., starting at 7 p.m. Friday.

Yonder Grove will perform at The Tilted Mule, 102 Depot St., starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Brandt Archer & Damien Boggs will perform at McCreary's Irish Pub & Eatery, 814 S. Main St., starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Golden Soul Review will perform at Twisted Copper Brewing Company, 121 S. Main St. in Mt. Pleasant, starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Amber Falls Winery & Cellars, 794 Ridgetop Road in Hampshire, will host Music on The Ridge starting at 3 p.m., with live music from The Grasskickers, as well as food from Cousins Maine Lobster food truck.

The Deltaz will perform at The Rebel Bar and Grill, 307 Riverside Drive, starting at 4 p.m. Sunday.

DNR will perform at The Boondox, 3543 Highway 431, starting at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Amber Falls Winery & Cellars, 794 Ridgetop Road, will wrap up the weekend with another Music on The Ridge, this time featuring The Sins country duo, from 1-5 p.m. Sunday. Tracie's Mobile Kitchen food truck will be on hand to provide the eats.
