These Instagram Accounts Blend Celebrity Faces Together

Instagram recently reached a momentous milestone when it hit 600 million users. With such an extensive user base, the app unsurprisingly has a number of eccentric accounts — including some devoted to merging celebrity faces together.

The account morphy_me, which is run by Benjamin Jean, has accumulated a massive social media following — almost 30,000 followers — since its creation in 2015. Jean uses Photoshop to merge faces, and everyone from notable actors and actresses to professional athletes and models are featured on the account.

“One or two years ago, I did some morphs of people from my family with some celebrities just for fun,” Jean shares with Yahoo Beauty. “Then I thought people would like to see some morphs of celebs, so I created my account one year ago. It was a moment when I had more free time, but I never expected to have many followers.”

Jean has mixed famous actors like Christian Bale and Jared Leto together.

Some of Hollywood’s leading ladies, including Megan Fox and Scarlett Johansson, have been morphed into one gorgeous human.

A number of different models have been Photoshopped together, including Victoria’s Secret models Adriana Lima, Irina Shayk, Josephine Skriver, Doutzen Kroes, and Candice Swanepoel among others.

Top model and Victoria’s Secret angel Gigi Hadid was morphed with pop star Selena Gomez in this shot.

Beneath each photo, Jean details which figures are Photoshopped in the picture and who requested the morph. “Every day I choose celebrities [that] I morph among the requests of my followers in comments. I try to vary as much as I can,” he said.

Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be a pretty popular request, as he’s been morphed with other players and actors a number of times.

Even Hillary Clinton and President-elect Donald Trump have been merged.

Another account, morphedfaces, which is run by a 14-year-old girl named Vivienne, also blends famous figures together.

Vivienne started the account because one of her close friends talked about how she thought two of her favorite celebrities would have attractive children together. Vivienne decided to test it out and merged their faces using her Photoshop skills.

Like morphy_me, this account has also been successful, reaching over 7,000 followers since its creation in early October; models and actors populate many of the account’s images. Check out some of the striking recreations.

In order to pick the celebrities she edits, Vivienne looks to the names her followers suggest in the comments and randomly mixes them together.
