Margaritaville Beach Resorts is expanding.

The brainchild of the late (great) Jimmy Buffett announced the opening of its newest location in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. And, according to a statement provided to Travel + Leisure, it really does sound like the paradise Buffett always sang about.

“We are thrilled to open up reservations to Margaritaville Beach Resort to Fort Myers Beach, which is home to some of the most spectacular sunsets, magnificent wildlife, and coolest seashells in the world,” David Cesario, the general manager of Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach, said in a statement. “Whether a family vacation, romantic escape, getaway with friends, special events, or corporate meetings, Margaritaville Beach Resort offers something for everyone. Our team looks forward to being part of the Fort Myers Beach community and transporting guests into a vacation state of mind.”

The hotel sits on more than seven acres right on the pristine shoreline, allowing guests to dig their toes into the sugar sand beach or run directly into the turquoise waters outside. Here, guests can check into one of the 254 rooms or suites, which all sport coastal decor to reflect the natural surroundings outside, and many of those rooms come with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Guests can also expect decadent dining at its six restaurants, including the signature JWB Grill, where they can get a Gulf-inspired seafood meal or steak, and the 5'o'clock Somewhere Bar to get, what else, a really great margarita.

Of course, this resort will also have plenty of live entertainment to keep the good times going. But it also offers rest and relaxation time at the St. Somewhere Spa for those who'd rather unwind in peace.

The hotel is currently accepting reservations for stays beginning on Dec. 21. It's also hosting a New Year's Eve bash for some of its first guests at its  Sunset Terrace, which includes food, drinks, entertainment, and a special fireworks show.
