The Sanderson sisters will be back once again! A third Hocus Pocus film is reportedly in the works at Disney, with, hopefully, the return of Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Buried in a brand-new New York Times profile of Sean Bailey, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, is one sentence that caught our attention about movies Disney has in various stages of production and development: "Yes, 'Hocus Pocus 3' is happening." No further details were shared, but Bailey would be the one to know about a third Hocus Pocus film.

Hocus Pocus 2 premiered last year, nearly 30 years after the first Hocus Pocus film was in theaters. The second film featured a new trio (played by Whitney Peak, Belissa Escobedo, and Lilia Buckingham) who face off against the resurrected Salem witches.

"After 30 years with no sequel to Hocus Pocus, I've always been envious of people who get to do their favorite character more than once. The fact that we got to do this finally, after 30 years of promoting the idea, I'm glad we got to do it. I'd love to have a franchise — especially a character I love playing," Midler told Entertainment Weekly last year. "If there was a third one, of course I'd sign on, but I don't know how. I can't imagine what the story would be, but I love Winifred, Sarah, Mary, and our relationship. It's good for women. We stick together through hell and high water, but we do cause mayhem, and not many women cause that much mayhem!"

Parker, too, said she would love to return, telling EW, "Of course I'd be happy to have a conversation [for a third film], it just depends on what Kathy and Bette want!"

We'll update this as soon as we learn more.
