There's a brand-new way to experience one of America's most beautiful national parks.

Today, the Yosemite Hotel Collection announced the addition of Firefall Ranch, a rustic-chic getaway just minutes from the park's northwest entrance.

The brand-new resort includes 55 stand-alone cottages and villas in one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations, on the 300-acre property. Inside each cottage, guests will find a double-sided indoor/outdoor fireplace, covered decks, and luxury bedding to ensure a restful night's sleep after a day of adventuring in the wilderness.

"Firefall Ranch is unlike anything travelers have seen in the Yosemite region," Joe Juszkiewicz, the manager at Firefall Ranch, told Travel + Leisure. "Firefall has a gorgeous design aesthetic indoors and out, and its public spaces, cottages, and villas are grand and elegant. Yet the Ranch is intimate, warm, approachable, and relaxed. That's the magic."

Guests can find cozy fare at the ranch's signature restaurant, with menu items like a simple kale salad or Monte Cristo sandwich for lunch, and prime cuts of meat and fish made over the natural hardwood grill for dinner. A private wine room is also on-site for travelers looking for the perfect pairing. And, if you need to pick up a snack before heading to the park, the ranch's General Store is here to deliver, with hot coffee in the morning, snacks, and picnic lunches to-go.

However, you won't have to leave the lodge for a good time. The ranch will offer a full calendar of activities for guests, including yard games like bocce and horseshoes, stargazing outings, wine tastings, and nightly fireside s'mores. There are also private guided excursions available, including driving, hiking, and fly fishing, depending on just how active you want to get. Don't want to be active at all? Guests will be more than welcome to hit the full-service spa at the ranch's sibling resort, Rush Creek Lodge & Spa.

"We hope Firefall Ranch guests completely relax, unwind, and have fun with all of the amenities in our stunning surroundings," Juszkiewicz says, adding that he hopes they "thoroughly enjoy our spirited take on fine dining without the fuss, and that they connect with nature in a way that builds them up and stays with them for a lifetime."

Firefall Ranch is now taking reservations for stays starting May 1, 2024. Rooms start at $675 per night.
