Then and now: See Renée Zellweger’s style transformation

In 1996 Renée Zellweger caught Hollywood and moviegoers’ attention as Tom Cruise’s love interest in “Jerry Maguire.” The budding actress wore a sleek and sexy halter-neck dress to the N.Y. premiere of the movie. Slowly but surely she was becoming a fashion darling, and an A-list star! At the 2001 Academy Awards, she made quite the entrance in a stunning yellow gown by Jean. In 2005 she teamed up with Carolina Herrera, who quickly became one of her favorite designers. Zellweger wowed in a strapless red dress and turned heads with her dark brunette hair. Three years later it was back to blond and back to Carolina Herrera. The actress sparkled in a silver sequined gown. This year Zellweger has given us major fashion moments at the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards and the BAFTA Awards, where she won Best Actress for her portrayal of Judy Garland in the film “Judy.” At the SAGs she chose a satin John Galliano design, and at the BAFTAs it was all about a pretty-in-pink moment, thanks to a beautiful cotton-candy-colored Prada gown.
