There are plenty of reasons to be envious of Olympic gymnasts — their strength, fame and, most importantly, their uncanny ability to make impossible physical feats look effortless, to name a few. But although the Final Five’s routines on the floor, uneven bars, vault and beam are totally mesmerizing, another amazing aspect of the Rio 2016 team is their gorgeous hair and makeup looks.
In case you missed it, the talented athletes on the team were rocking a batch of beauty looks worthy of perfect scores themselves during the Women’s Team Final on Tuesday.
Gabby Douglas
It’s no secret that Gabby Douglas’ hair has been a source of nonsensical controversy lately, but positive attention should probably be paid to the stunning Bordeaux lip stain she wore for the team final. First-time Olympian Laurie Hernandez won a gold medal while rocking this edgy cat eye. Not only was the wing-tipped liner perfectly painted into place, but the bronze, smoky shadow she paired with it also gave the look a softer appearance for the games.
