The Tools Every Man Needs — and Can’t Get at Home Depot
There are hammers and nails and there are tweezers and face brushes, and it’s time to break down the gender lines between the two sets of tools. If you’re a human, you need both, regardless of whether your name is Jack or Jane. There are endless articles detailing what a woman “must have” in her bathroom right now, but what about the dudes? It’s not complicated, but there are a handful of instruments that will make grooming easy and, dare we say, even enjoyable. Use the following guidelines to build your grooming kit and you’ll be set for life—promise.
Nail Clippers
If you only own one thing on this list, we hope it’s nail clippers. You don’t need to go for regular manicures and pedicures (though you probably should, at least twice a year), but you do need to keep your fingernails and toenails in check.
Waterpik
Studies show that only half of all Americans floss daily, and honestly, we can’t blame them. It’s pretty much the worst experience, which is where the Waterpik comes in. Think of it as a pressure wash for your mouth; it removes plaque and bacteria in as little as three seconds.
Precision Trimmer
You may not want to deal with it, but all men eventually have to face the fact that there is un-wanted hair on their face. If you’ve got a small forest growing in your ears or nose, get rid of it swiftly using a precision trimmer. Pumice Stone
It’s easy to forget about your feet. Don’t. Keep a pumice stone in the shower and scrub them down whenever you remember, to shed dry skin and keep them as soft as possible.
Tweezers
Because you’re an adult, and there’s simply no excuse for having a unibrow.
Clarisonic
If you’ve been in a woman’s bathroom any time in the past five years, you’ve probably seen a Clarisonic. They’ve been using the exfoliating facial brush to remove dead skin and get their face extra clean. No, you don’t have to have it, but you’ll be grateful if you do.
