Angelina Jolie has many titles — actress, director, producer, humanitarian, Special Envoy of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees — but it’s obviously “mom” that is the most important to her. With six kids, and arguably the hottest husband of all time, she’s basically a unicorn. Lucky for those hoping for a peek inside the seemingly magical world Jolie Pitt and her husband have built, the entire “band of galactically famous multimillionaire gypsies,” appears together in the pages of Vogue’s November issue, showing off the “highly privileged carnival that is her life.”

Shot by photographer Annie Liebovitz, Shiloh (9), Vivienne (7), Knox (7), Pax (11), Zahara (10), Maddox (14), Brad Pitt, and Angelina show off a dreamy version of their adventurous life. From playing on the beach in Halloween costumes straight out of a Tim Walker shoot— skeleton, rabbit, pirates, ballerinas—with Angelia in a Wolford bodysuit and Bottega Veneta skirt, to teaching Maddox the tricks of the movie trade, even the most privileged will wish they grew up in this world. The brood of world travelers even suited up in dirt bike gear (with Jolie Pitt in Lanvin because, come on) and held off on zooming to their next continent long enough to pose for a picture.

If there was ever any doubt that these aren’t your typical Hollywood offspring, Jolie, who refers to herself in the third person as ‘Mommy,’ revealed that her six children are all homeschooled by teachers of different backgrounds, religions, and languages. Pax might even be a member of MENSA, having asked to tag along with his mother on a trip to Myanmar and Cambodia location scouting for her next film because he wanted to meet Aung San Suu Kyi (he had read about the liberated Burmese opposition leader and Nobel laureate). “Seeing Pax get extra-nervous about which shirt he is going to wear when he meets Aung San Suu Kyi, I get very moved,” she said. “He rightfully doesn’t get nervous going to a movie premiere; he gets nervous going to meet her.”

While the kids aren’t forced to go on any humanitarian missions — “The kids that don’t want to go don’t go” — she still makes time for each and every one of them. “I schedule individual time with each of the kids like a crazy person,” she says. “I know what I’m doing with my boys tonight.”
